The road trip to Adelaide has become a popular one for ICE fans, with no less than 50 loyal and vocal supporters joining the team in Adelaide last weekend. In fact many people believe the fans might have stolen the show with their happy birthday rendition for Joey Hughes on the Sunday. Following the weekend the Adrenaline sent a letter of congratulations to the Melbourne Ice fans, applauding them for creating a rivalry that is now the envy of the league both on and off the ice.
There is no question ICE v Adrenaline is a home and away series that guarantees the fiercest battle on the ice and is supported by one of the most exciting fan bases in the league. At the end of the home and away series ICE and Adrenaline split the points 6-6 confirming just how close these teams are which certainly sets the stage for what could well be a finals replay from 2010.

You certainly kept the team motivated and in the hunt all weekend when the Adelaide Adrenaline were really pressing for maximum points. Both games were absolute quality and in the wash up Adelaide prevailed in a shootout on Saturday and Sunday, hunting down the ICE lead on both occasions.
