Games 25 and 26 – a weekend on the coast
Medibank Melbourne Ice travelled to the Gold Coast for round 2 and 3 of this 4 game series and the ACTION was certainly intense. Many Melbourne Ice loyal and faithful fans travelled with the team ensuring the GO ICE GO chant was there to boast their favourite team and drown out the typically vocal Blue Tongue supporters. In the wash up the points were split with the Tongues claiming victory on the Saturday and the ICE reversing the result on Sunday. Both teams played with passion and pride with the Tongues also playing for that final playoff position. The final round is this Saturday at the Medibank Icehouse, were the Tongues need a victory to have a chance at holding on to fourth place.
