Terrific season opening match tonight with our first Victorian derby. Welcome to the Mustangs, it’s fantastic we have some hometown rivalry.
To our “imports”, welcome guys to a fantastic club, I hope you have a great season with Meblourne Ice.
GO ICE GO. BACK TO BACK
What happened to Adam Taylor?
We agreed to change his contract to 2012, due to issues in Edinburgh, so that he could play back in the ECHL for the Salmon Kings.
That’s a shame. Still good to have some interest from international players. The league and the Ice specifically are getting some cred
What happened to the individual player profiles and photos? Like last year’s website?
We are building new player profiles with pictures that also sync with our up coming iPhone App. Wont be long now.
Suggestion – This section should have the players numbers next to their names.
Go Ice!
Coming soon: numbers, bios and photos. So few hours in the day!
Would the Melbourne Ice support the younger generation of future Australian players? The Medibank Ice House uses the hockey rink for hockey training/practice for public with kids very little. Once a week of hockey school is way not enough. The management of Ice House is interesting only in general skating, money-making. There is a fantastic brand-new hockey rink that should be used for hockey.
We- parents & kids are very passionate about hockey and need your support!
Hi Gleb, we established the Melbourne Ice Academy to start doing these types of clinics. It is on our agenda for 2012. If you want to discuss further please email president@melbourneice.com.au
Will there be an Android app? Some of are smart enough not to use iPhones…
Only if someone writes one for us. The iPhone app was created under sponsorship.
